Meet Jen
During what she now describes as phase one of her professional career, Jen practiced law for more than two decades with an international law firm in both Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Jen recently left her legal practice to focus on writing fiction — a lifelong passion — and spend time with her teenage nieces. In addition to telling stories, Jen remains active in mentoring young and aspiring lawyers, she volunteers with the Humane Rescue Alliance and Animal Rescue Rhode Island, and she enjoys running by the ocean, watching the New England Patriots, and savoring time with family, friends, and her three cats.
The Rhode Island Coastline
When Jen returned to her home state of Rhode Island, she found the unique and picturesque coastline inspired her creative writing in new and refreshing ways. These rocky edges, sandy beaches, and memorable sunsets serve as her muse for storylines, one wave at a time.
